Postage and Shipping Charges

Decals We make a standard charge of £1.00 for the postage of decals irrespective of the quantity ordered provided the delivery address is situated within the UK mainland. For Europe, Asia and the USA postage is charged at the actual cost to us. In most cases the postage and packaging charge will not exceed £2.00. We will in any event always tell you in advance what the postage charge will be.

 

Models Whenever possible we try to offer all of our 1:43rd models post free provided the delivery address is situated within the UK. For Europe, Asia and the USA postage is charged at the actual cost to us. In most cases postage will not exceed 10% of the total cost of the goods to be delivered. We will in any event always tell you in advance what the postage charge will be.

 

Payment Methods You can make payment for your purchase in either of the following ways:

Cheque Make your cheque payable to “The Modelworks” and send to: Bramleys Orchard, 8 Yonder Meadow, Stoke Gabriel, Totnes, Devon. TQ9 6QE It is advisable to send an e-mail in advance to check the item/s are in stock.

Credit Card or Debit Card Please note there is a minimum order of £10 if paying by credit card. Debit cards are accepted for any amount. You can telephone us with your creditdebit card details any time between 08.00 and 22.00 daily. Please leave your telephone number if we are not available and we will return your call.

Paypal If you wish to pay by Paypal simply send us an e-mail detailing your order and we will issue a Request for Payment from Paypal and you simply pay on receipt of the Request. We will send an acknowledgement as soon as payment is received together with confirmation of when your order will be dispatched to you.

Returns and Refunds

We want you to be totally satisfied with every purchase that you make from us. We try to offer our products at the best possible price. However, if for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase we will exchange it or offer you a full refund.

If you decide within seven working days that you would like to return an item purchased from our website you can return it to us and we will refund you the cost of your purchase. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us.

Your statutory rights are unaffected.

 

Distance Selling Regulations

Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel your order for any item purchased on this website, for a full refund. This does not apply to any items personalised or produced to your specification.

To cancel you can e-mail us, or write to us at the address detailed below within seven working days of devliery of your items to you. You must take reasonable care of the items whilst in your possession and you must also make arrangements for retunring the items to us at the address detailed below. You are responsible for the cost of returning the items.

 

Placing a Pre-order with us

A number of the models detailed within this site will have been announced by the manufacturer several months before the model is produced. The anticipated delivery date for the model is given as a guide only. We are happy to take pre-orders for the model in order that you can guarantee adding it to your collection. Once you have placed a pre-order with us we will notifiy you of an actual delivery date as soon as we have been provided with one by the manufacturer. As soon as the model arrives with us we will send an email to you (or telephone you) to let you know it is in stock. Payment for the model will be taken that day and the model dispatched to you. If you fail to make payment for the pre-ordered model the pre-order will be cancelled along with any other pre-order you may hold with us.
